Kesha Rose Sebert (1 March 1987), professionally known as Ke$ha is the daughter of songwriter Pebe Sebert and is an American singer, songwriter and actress from Los Angeles, California. In 2005, at age 18, Kesha was signed to Kemosabe Records. Her first major success came in early 2009 after she was featured on American rapper Flo Rida's number-one single "Right Round".

Kesha's catchy music and image lead her to immediate success. She has earned two number-one albums on the US Billboard 200 with Animal (2010) and Rainbow (2017). In 2009 she released the song, ‘Tik Tok,’ which most people would think is her most famous song as it topped the charts in eleven countries and sold over 16.5 million units but it is actually not her biggest hit of all time. Other top-ten singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 include, ‘Die Young,’ ‘We R Who We R,’ and ‘Timber’ with Pitbull. She has won several international music awards in the past years.
