Susan Janet Ballion, also known as Siouxsie Sioux (27 May 1957) is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. She is best known as the lead singer of the rock band ‘Siouxsie and the Banshees’ from 1976 until 1996. The band released 11 studio albums and had multiple UK Top 20 singles including ‘Hong Kong Garden,’ ‘Happy House’ and ‘Peek-a-Boo.’ 

Siouxsie also formed a second group ‘The Creatures’ from 1981 until 2005. The band recorded four studio albums and the hit single ‘Right Now.’ After 2005 she continued as a solo artist, using her stage name, Siouxsie and released the album ‘Mantaray’ in 2007.
